NATURE & ACTIVITIES

With so many beautiful views, new insights and ideas usually
are not long in coming. The area surrounding the Loxone Campus offers
attractive destinations for active people, those thirsty for knowledge, and nature lovers.

World of experience

A world of discovery for those thirsty for knowledge and explorers: immerse yourself interactively in the world of smart buildings and discover how Loxone contributes to energy savings and a high level of comfort.

Loxone Showhome

Just a few minutes' walk from the Loxone Campus, you will find the Loxone Showhome Kollerschlag. Embark on a journey of discovery and experience the Loxone Smart Home with all its features live and in color.

Art & Culture

The region is also known for its artistic and cultural venues. Directly in Kollerschlag you can visit the beautiful church in late baroque style, which was automated with Loxone. In addition to numerous museums and local history houses, we can particularly recommend a trip to the Villa Sinnenreich.

Brewery

The Hofstetten brewery is not only the oldest brewery in Austria, it has also been fully automated with Loxone. Definitely worth a visit for technology and beer enthusiasts! If you are interested in a guided tour of the brewery followed by a beer tasting, the Schlägl Abbey Brewery is also a popular excursion destination.

Boat trip

Rent a boat or yacht from Donau Yachten and enjoy unforgettable moments on the Danube! The Untermühl marina offers modern berths and is well equipped thanks to Loxone technology. Perfect for relaxing excursions or sporting adventures!

Passau

The Passau Three Rivers Corner is the only place in the world where three rivers from three different directions flow together to form one river. Discover the Venice of Bavaria!

ČESKÝ KRUMLOV

The town of Český Krumlov looks back on more than 700 years of history, with each century shaping its face in a unique way. The result is a picturesque town that boasts a magical atmosphere and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Schlögen Loop

The nearby Danube valley has an extremely aesthetic appearance, culminating in the Schlögener Schlinge. This is where the power and beauty of nature is revealed. A view to relax, unwind and enjoy.

Winter sports

Whether skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or snowshoe hiking. With the Hochficht ski area and the Nordic Center Böhmerwald, a true winter wonderland opens up in the Mühlviertel. Experience winter from its most beautiful side.

Bathing

In addition to our 20 meter long infinity outdoor pool at the Loxone Campus, you can also cool off on a hot summer's day in the Kollorado outdoor pool in the village. If you would rather go for a swim at the lake, we can recommend the Rannasee in Wegscheid.

Riding

Want to enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding area on horseback? The Ramlhof farm in Nebelberg is the closest option for a leisurely ride through the idyllic, hilly landscape. It is best to contact us in advance so that nothing stands in the way of your riding pleasure.

Game park

Altenfelden Wildlife Park is just a 20-minute drive from the Loxone Campus and offers fun and action for the whole family 365 days a year. With over 1000 animals of more than 200 species on an area of 80 hectares, it is the largest zoo in Austria.

Observation towers

In addition to the Moldaublick, which impresses with a great view of the Vltava reservoir, there is a second lookout point in Schöneben. The 33 m high view of the Alps offers a wonderful view to the south over the valley of the Große Mühl, to Bavaria, over the Bohemian Forest and, with good visibility, as far as the Alps.

Archery

The Peilstein 3D archery course extends over approx. 4 km of forest and meadows in the neighboring municipality. 30 stations with over 100 3D animals and shooting distances from 5 to 50 meters make the course a real experience for young and old. There is also the Bohemian Forest Park, which has 18 figures along a circular trail.

Climbing

The Böhmerwald high ropes park in Ulrichsberg offers a total of 8 climbing courses at different levels of difficulty.

Golf

The nearby Böhmerwald Golf Park in Ulrichsberg delights both professionals and beginners with its 18-hole golf course and picturesque landscape. The Pfarrkirchen Golf Club also offers one of the most breathtaking golf courses in Austria with its 9-hole course and is only a 20-minute drive from the Loxone Campus.

Mountain biking

In addition to the many hiking trails, the Mühlviertel also offers fantastic cycling routes - whether by mountain bike, e-bike or racing bike. The routes lead through the magnificent landscape of the Šumava region and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Hiking

The region around the Bohemian Forest offers a variety of hiking trails. Lake Plöckenstein, Dreisesselberg, and Bärenstein are just a few of them. Enquire at our reception for hiking tips in the area or discover various hiking routes at www.boehmerwald.at.
